Our Events


Staff training was conducted in our centre on 2nd June 2017. The day was special day to all the dedicated staffs, we invited the resource person from Chennai, Muttukadu, TISS Extension Centre, Mr. Ramesh to organise the training based on 3 topics. 1. Communication, 2. Responsibilities 3. Caring for the children. He shared many practical examples related to the topics and encouraged our staffs with interested video clipping. As the day passed with the activity that are performed by the staffs. He described about team work that staffs can using their individual skills to uplift the performance of the children in their class room.

AMBA Training

Students were given opportunity to learn computer operations from AMBA, an organization from Bangalore. Under this training, the students learnt digital form filling, speed typing and basic computer learnings too.  Twenty trainees were involved in the program, this will help them for their livelihood. This program is funded by AMBA themselves.

ONGC Inaguration

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Oil and Natural Gas Cooperation who helped us in setting up the paper cup making unit, Solar System and RO water purifier in our center.  The inauguration for this was held on 18th April 2017. The official from ONGC,  Mr. Pawan Kumar inaugurated the unit and  congratulated the trainees in the unit.


21st ANNUAL DAY 2017

Annual day of our centre was held on 10th April, 2017 @ our campus. The program had guests like Mr. Srinivasan, Asst. General Manager, Circle Office, Canara Bank and Mr. S. Nagarajan, senior manager, Canara bank, Tondiarpet joined the celebration. The students showcased their talents in the form of cultural program. The year’s report was played as a documentary. The program also created an awareness to “Together We Can" - ways possible                                      


DEC's Women's Day - 2017

DEC – Women’s day was celebrated on 13th march 2017 and the event saw Ms. Indhumathi as a guest for the occasion. Parents took part in various programs especially in the organic food preparation competition. More than 20 parents participated in that event itself. The event saw high competitive spirit and results were great dishes being provided by the participants. Its was a remarkable day for all. 

ARSS - Women’s Day 2017

Women’s Day was celebrated at ARSS – Tiruvallur on 8th March 2017. Special Guest from Tiruvallur, Women’s Police Station Inspector Ms. Kanchana came and delivered special note about Women’s power. Various competitions are organized specially for women like Kolam, Oratorical and preparing Organic healthy dishes. All of them took part in the competitions with fun and creative thinking. Winners got appreciation and award by the Inspector. Special Children's parents and surrounding women’s groups took part in the memorable occasion. We thank Ms. Kanchana, Inspector and the team of Tiruvallur Women’s Police Station. 



Facilitation function to Cater pillar held on 23rd Jan 2017 @ AnbalayA Rural Special School, the team of Caterpillar inaugurated the newly designed grill work in campusand catted ribbon of their donated provisions and other utility goods. We thank of the whole team of Caterpillar and special thanks to Country Manager Mr. SrinivasaRao, CSR Leader Mr. Thangaraj and Medical Officer Dr. Kanagasabapathy.

Special Olympics Unified Sports Meet Jan-2017

DEC – AnbalayA took part on Special Olympics Unified Sports Meet @ Nehru Stadium on 21st Jan 2017. Many of our special children and trainees from Wheel compete with other children and collect many medals in their bags. Chief guest Kamadian Mr. Santhanam came for the event and celebrates his birthday with the children and play games for a minute.



Pongal celebration was held on 12th Jan 2017 @ centre. Children’s showed their talents in traditional games like Uriyadithal&Karumbuudaithal. All the children’s and trainees are enjoyed with the games and parent did kummi. The parent interestingly took part in Kolam competition.  Finally share sweet pongal to everyone.   


     Anbalaya rural special school was celebrated on the 22nd December 2016and was a very special one. The students were invited to the Christ king college, Keelecheri for the presentation.

The college students sang carols and welcomed the children. Thechildren presented programs like pyramid and dance. The children were treated with a sumptuous lunch provided by the college and were bestowed with gifts. Special thanks to Rev. Fr Antony Sebastian and the faculty of the college.
