On 25th Nov 2017 we celebrated our chidren’s day with our society member guest Mr. Arivunithi (Advocate), and his friends Mr. Iniyan (Advocate)Mr. Sorly (Advocate). Our beloved Dr. Sagy also took part in the occasion.  Children performed various events like talent shows, fancy dress and debate; They also enacted standup comedy and impressed the audience with dance. The guest encouraged the children and distributed prizes. Children enjoyed refreshments and snacks. The programme was very different and unforgettable for the participants and guest.



On 20th November 2017 our school student are participated in yoga inter school competition in KRM special school, Parembur, Chennai. 6 of our student from AnbalayA and 3 fromAnbalayA Rural took part in the competition with the trainer Ms. Priyanka & Mr. Murugan.  They performed individual and team events. In the 11 school participation our school won 2nd PLACE in the team event. Student Vinupriya won 2nd PLACE in the individual competition.

EYE CAMP - 2017

DEC – AnbalayA organized Free Eye Checkup Camp by Health Line Charitable Trust on 26.10.2017 at campus. Dr. E.S. Moorthy Managing Director, assessed the vision problems and eye diseases for the all the beneficiaries. On this occasion the team gave some tips to protect eye from the pollution and counseled regular eye care & checkup. Nearly 100 beneficiaries are benefitted in the camp. 


    The bright and beautiful celebration of Diwali festival celebrated in our centre on 17th October 2017 for our special children. The festival of lights started with a great pleasure. Our principal Mrs.D. Arokia Mary explained aboutthe meaning of Diwali and motivated ‘safety trials’.All the Children wore color full dress and enjoyed the day with crackers and sweets. As well they encouraged to celebrate with the help of teachers. Besides they had burst the crackers on the occasion of the festival,additionally to show the light sparkles as part of Diwali.


 We conducted the parent meeting programme on14.10.2016 at our centre. As it is the usual meeting 40 members of parents attended on the day. The meeting resource Mrs.Ansari clarified about the topic “Food and health”. She told that food has been given a very significant place in our lives because it is primary requirements. As followed by, Our secretary Mr.K. Prabhakaran gave about the common details of Sports and its importance. After that our Principal Mrs.D. Arokia Mary explained the specific information’s to the parents. After following, all the session convened by the staffs.

Sports Authority of Tamil Nadu, District Sports Meet – Tiruvallur on 11.10.2017

Sports Authority of Tamil Nadu - Tiruvallur organize District Sports Meet for the differently abled on 11.10.2017 @ Tiruvallur, collectorate ground. Ourcentre from Tiruvallur ARSS and ASS - Thiruvottiyur school students took part in individual events like Running 50 mts& 100 mts, Soft ball throw, standing long jump, shotput and team event throw ball. The winners list is following.

Employability Camp

Chennai, September 27th to 29th 2017


Aim: To Provide Opportunities to the trainee

Ø  To learn time management

Ø  To be organized in duties

Ø  To communicate

Ø  To adapt to the work environment

Ø  To get self confidence

Venue: Retreat Centre, Santhome , Chennai


With the collaboration of AIF & LC Nagapattinam DEC – AnbalayA organize three days residential camp to step up and enlighten our trainees in work station ethics and moralities.  Out of 11 trainees 3 are settled in placement and the remaining trainees still under in on the job training, they showed their talents and improvement to compare earlier camp.  They are enjoyed in each and every session.  Every day session covered yoga, meditation, ground work, group work, gardening, communication and work presentation and reporting. All the session leads to improve the trainee’s self-confidence and employability.


DEC – AnbalayA celebrate its teachers day on 5th& 22nd of Sep 2017.  On 5th ABLE trainees were take initiatives in this programme.  Students gave small gift to their teachers and staffs.  In the evening they were conducted friendly throw ball event teachers Vs student.  Then they played identity game. After the game they were cut the cake jointly and share each other. All the staff and student were enjoyed.    On 22nd all the staffs went to TADA falls. All staffs were enjoyed the trip. And take photos bath in falls and walked in hills. Evening we reached home.


Graduation Day/ Employer meeting was organized at Yammees Restaurant. The trainees energetically organized the whole programme. The programme included introduction on ABLE , sharing by successful model, Mr Dinesh kumar, Employers' view by Mr Anandhakumar and a special topic on Hiring a PWD in business by Ms Vijayalakshmi , HOD from Adhi parasakthi trust, . The parents and employers were called for open qustionaire session by MR Aldrin , LC.

Mrs.Madhu priya from H.R Dept of CUMI and Ms.Rajvindar Kumat awarded certificates to the trainees. All trainees received them with full of happinsess and hope. Mrs.Madhu priya delivered an excellent speech on the products by ABLE trainees like flower bouquet etc. She narrated that they are well disciplined and has sincerity in the work. And Ms..Rajvindar detailed about the importance of ABLE training and its future goal. The final summary was done by Mr.K. Prabhakaran.  Ms.A. Benazir Begum, Trainee gave vote of thanks to all. Finally the prgramme ended with national Anthem followed by a good lunch.


Chennai volunteers NGO FAIR’2017 was held on 18th August, Friday at AVM Rajeshwari Kalyana Mandapam, Myalapore, Chennai. A day was the occurrence to celebrate the partners of NGO’s to volunteer and share their resource & volunteering needs. Chennai volunteers is a social initiative that aims to further and ensure to facilitate non - profits engage with volunteers in sustainable techniques.
