Display com sale @ Piramal on 17th Oct 2018. Products made by our trainees from Wheel Vocational Unit.  We received good response from the HR team and employees form company of Piramal Enterprises.   Four of them with one parent, teacher and two trainees were gone. The trainees did demo to the consumers.  Our sincere thanks to HR Manager, Mr. Siva sankar for their hospitality support for arrangement.

     Parents meeting began at 2.30 pm. Student Ramya from vocational welcomed the parents for the meeting. There were 38 parents in the meeting. The meeting started by recapping of last gathering where discussed to buy vocational products for Rs.100. Since it was not happening, during today’s meeting taken in charge to follow up in the future in each class.

    The in charge persons need to contact and make them to buy every month for Rs.100 this is due to helping for stipend of the vocational trainees.

     Miss Pramila led the group asking evaluation feedback, she also shared scribe used for the students in the secondary, few parents shared their children’s growth and they were happy for it.

    Followed by miss Bencitta appreciated the home works of the children, who all did during the holidays. Who were not done the home work told the importance of the home work.

    Mrs. Rani from Government hospital, who was giving awareness to all the places, were with us and shared the free treatment giving for the Tuberculosis.  

    Mrs. D. Arokia Mary began calling out two parents to act out and from their mistake she made the group to understand that how we each one of us make mistake. To be aware of   guidance towards children properly will help them to learn correctly. Also she shared about the RPWD Act-2016.  She concentrated about 21 disabilities and the concession which are provided by the Government.

    Followed by Mrs. Devi shared about the Government scheme for the autism children, also Mrs. Rajammal shared about the Niramaya scheme and told the parents to apply in the school itself, where we are applying for the children.

     Ms. Inigo shared about the children’s day & joy of sharing together which will be celebrating next month, told the importance of the celebration and to participate whole day programme.

      Finally Miss. Rebakka shared about applying for bus pass and train pass, also fees details to pay regularly if not to meet the concerned person and tell the reasons.

At the end meeting got over by recalling back of the day.   



Women Christian Collage organised drawing competition for intellectual challenged persons on 10th Oct 2018.  Four of our students was participate in event lower ability category Ashiq Imran and Sasanth and higher ability category Dinish and Kailash.  At the time of giving it, they finished painting. The prize for the tournament was reported on November 16. Thanks to the Women Christian College for providing this opportunity.


      Care Learning Centre and co-partner of Chennai Jain Rehabilitation Centre organised Temple visit to Tirupathi on 02.10.2018. They invited our school to join in the pilgrimage journey, 10 of our students and 4 staffs visited the temple. The organising team was taken care of our students and provided food, snacks and safely brought us back to our centre.  All of our students are enjoyed at the core by visiting the temple.  Thanks to CARE centre. 


The Special Olympic Bharat Tamil Nadu was conducted state level selection for floor ball and floor hockey game at Vellaichami Nadar College, Madurai in Tamil Nadu. Our Students from both centre took part in the selection.

 Ms. K. Priyanka special Educator from Anbalaya Rural Special School and our volunteer Mr. Rajesh led the team. 


The Management DEC –Anbalaya arranged picnic for the staffs on September 21.9.2018. All were enjoyed the day by visiting Maghimai madha church, beach and light house in Pulicate.

It was an amazing and unforgettable experience for everyone. Beach was very clean by looking at the waves and entering into it enjoyed the day.  Staff enjoyed with beach ball on the sea shore which was going back to our student hood period. 

Our Last visit was light house all were claimed top of light house, top view made all of us to amaze by viewing one side lake, other side sea, centre the pulicate shining place was looking very beautiful. We spend long time by admiring the greenery of God’s creation on the top of light house. All the staffs were happy for the day at 5.pm returned from pulicate. Thanks to the management to arrange the such a wonder full trip.



DEC – AnbalayA collaborated with National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities (NIEPMD) as LPO to organise CRE programme at the campus of DEC from 7th to 9th September 2018. The inauguration on the first day was with lighting the lamp lit. After the lighting ceremony Mr. K. Prabhakaran, Secretary, DEC welcomed the resource persons and the gathering to make days best. He continued his words of thanking towards NIEPMD for given this opportunity to conduct first CRE programme at our centre. He gave short brief about the organisation and also the topic. Then he handed over the session to Mrs. R. Santhana Lakshmi, Superintendent of SPASTIN, Royapuram. There were 30 professionals attended three days and get to know each other experiences.

Towards the end of the training on the 3rd day feedback form was prepared and given to the participants. Few participants shared about their experiences gained during these three days. Mostly all have shared each days title was very informative and time bound. They expresses that this training gave formation to initiate vocational training in their centres. The programme coordinator Mr. M. Nagandra Prabu from NIEPMD, Mr. S. Ramalingam, Tamil Nadu Commission for Protection of Child’s Rights, Mr. K. Prabhakaran, Secretary, DEC and Mrs. D. Arokia Mary, Correspondent of DEC - Anbalaya, distributed the certificates to the participants. Finally the programme ended by taking group photo and thanking NIEPMD to such a first and best opportunity to organise these kind of training in northern part of Tamil Nadu.



On 5th September we had Teacher’s Day celebration. All the teachers were honoured by our correspondent cum principal Ms. D. Arokia Mary for their commitment and effort taken to train children and trainees.  Parents were arranged small gift and flower to all the teachers and assisted co-workers in the occasion and share their views about their teachers friendly. For the teachers wing Ms. Rajammal shared her views with thanks to all.


On 3rd August in Thanga maligai North part of Chennai in Tollgate arranged book festival.  Our students eleven of them from secondary and pre-vocational visited the place.  All were happy and enjoyed by seeing the different kinds of book shop in the place. Teachers Ms. Pramila and Ms. Inigo we accompany them and explained about the book at the book festival.


Our School students are visited Thiruvottiyur library on 2nd August 2018. In the library office they explained about the library short note and timing nicely. And they arranged us to visit all the racks and selves books to take and read.  After the visit our got some knowledge about the library and their uses for the readers.
