Cell Phone Service Training for the Differently Abled

One of the NGO organized a 3 months Cell Phone Service & Maintenance training programme for the differently abled (Physically Challenged) on 17th Feb 2014. 30 beneficiares from various part of Tiruvallur participated in the training programme. 



Thiruvottriyur St. Pauls church Anbeya coordinator, Mr. Susai Manikkam and his family came to our centre in his wedding anniversary. They share their joy with sweet & snacks to our special children.



By the effort of our centre, distributing three wheelers for 3 persons with physically challenged in the scheme of Govt. fund on 20th Jan 2014 @ MLA office near Thiruvottriyur Corporation. Distributing three wheelers by the Mr. Kuppen, MLA., in front of Mr. Srinivasan, District Differently Abled Welfare Officer.



Pongal Celebrated by DEC – AnbalayA parents on 11th Jan 2014. Parent with our children enjoyed the day with colour full events.  KANIVIN KARAM, an association of youngster team organized variety events for our special children and they arranged for prizes.  KALAKKAL SEKAR’s light music team beautiful songs with dance to the audience.  Everybody enjoyed.



Prime Minister’s National Council on Skill Development Training Programme for Person with Multiple Disabilities

National Institute for Empowerment of Person with Multiple Disabilities (NIEPMD) Chennai, Department of Disability Affairs, Ministry of Social Welfare & Empowerment, Government of India organizing Prime Minister’s National Council on Skill Development Training Programme for Person with Multiple Disabilities inaugurated by Mr. Raja Ram senior project Manager ITCOT, Chennai & Mr. Gunasekaran Project Manager, NIEPMD at our centre on 10th Jan 2014.

Annual State Meet for Sports

The winners from AnbalayA Ms. Ramya & Ms. Magashwari participated in the state meet event and they got IIIrd place & second place respectively.  The State commissioner for the Differently Abled facilitated the prize winners.   


District Cultural Meet

Tiruvallur District Cultural Meet was conducted on 30th Nov 2013. Our children from AnbalayA & AnbalayA Rural special school participated in the event. More than 10 schools participated in the meet. In this meet AnbalayA got first place in Cerebral Palsy (CP) category and got the opportunity to participate in state meet. AnbalayA Rural programme also got the recognition.



District Sports Meet

            Tiruvallur District Sports Meet was conducted on 20th November 2013. District Collector inaugurated the event by flaging. DDAWO, Mr. Srinivasan organised the event.  Our society secretary, who  is the Special Olympics District Coordinator cum State Sports Manager Mr. K. Prabhakaran conducted the sports meet for the District Office.  Overall 20 and above special schools participated in the events.  All the winners are awarded. Participants got the consolation prizes. Two from AnbalayA got Ist place and were eligible for the state meet. 



INAUGURATION OF NEW BUILDING - Anbalaya Rural Special School

With almighty God’s presence, yesterday our AnbalayA Rural Special School @ Melnallathur, Tiruvallur is inaugurated by the collector of Tiruvallur. All the Govt., officials, NGO heads, Staffs, parent from Tiruvallur district attended the function. Children show their talent with dance. Documentary film of DECAnbalayA is projected to the collector & audience. Two wheel chairs are also issued for the AnbalayA children with the help of DDAWO. The collector planted a tree and wished the institution to grow up & serve the public in and around villages.  Hence thanks to all for your prayer & wishes for the success full inauguration. Expect your support and cooperation in future.
