Joy of sharing – F.M.R INDIA

Our one of the sponsors AASHA NIKETAN at Thiurvanmaiyur and had a CARNIVAL on 16th Feb 2020 for the special schools and invited our centre also. 12 students & 3 staff attended the function. There were fun games to entertain the children and we displayed our product for sale. Children liked all the fun games and performed the dances with DJ.

District level Sports Meet - 2020


This event is organised in Thiruvallur collectorate ground on 06th Feb 2020. 18 schools included Anbalaya, TVT, and ARSS participated in the events like softball, Throw ball, 50M,100M,200M,400M Running, Standing long jump, Throw ball, Kabadi, Wheel chair running and running race for VI. From Anbalaya, TVT, Lokesh won the 1st prize in standing long jump and Tamilarasi won 2nd prize in standing long jump and Jackson won 1st prize in soft ball throw. From ARSS Ajith Kumar won 1st prize in Standing long jump.  Our centre placed in winning position in throw ball team event.  Ever Green Enterprises sponsored prizes for the children with medal, bags and tiffin boxes.



The traditional Pongal festival is very joyful programme in our centre which held on 11.01.2020. Variety of competitions like Transferring rice into the bowls, karumbu udaithal, uriyadithal are conducted for Children and also for the audience. Everybody took part enthusiastically. The winners get cash reward on the day. They played traditional kummi dance. The programme went off with sweet Pongal.

On 13.01.2020, in DEC – AnbalayA, had Pongal celebration with parents. The mothers took part in Kolam competition and Nutritious food competitions. The fathers enjoyed sugarcane breaking which was very colourful for the children. Uriadithal is highly competitive this time that nobody able to hit. The Pongal festival seems to be a family festival with the family participation.   


Christmas festival is celebrated on 20.12.2019  in ARSS.  Father Pradeep, Parish Priest and his groups took a role of organaising game for parents, carols songs and with santa dance. Children also performed Jesus nativity drama which impressed every one. The priest delivered Christmas massage and blessed all. The programme ended with Christmas sharing.



DEC – AnbalayA collaborated with National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities (NIEPMD) as LPO to organize CRE programme at the campus of DEC from14  to 15th December 2019.The topic for the trainning is “Structured Trainning on Relationship Dynamics in the Teachers of Children with Multiple Disabilities”.There were 40 professionals from different parts of Chennai and Kerala attended two days and get to know each other experiences.  All the participants will eagerly attentive to all the sessions.

At the End of the sessions MRS. Rafiq  from NIEPMD, Mr S.John Murugaselvam ,Rehabitations therapist.  and Mr.K.Prabhakaran, Secretary, DEC distributed the certificates to the participants. Few participants shared about their experiences gained during the two days. Mostly all have shared each days title was very informative and time bound.



In WCC college, Chennai, were conducted the art competition for 11 schools.  In our centre 4 students with 2 teachers were participated.  Student Tamilarasi has done wall hanging with ice cream sticks.  Student Dinesh has done basket with ear buts.  In 19.12.2019 prizes were distributed to the students.  Student Dharshan won 1st prize in this competition.  All the other 3 students were won the participant prizes.



Our dreams come true. Remembering 24th year of our centre we extended a new multipurpose training hall inaugurated by Rev.Fr. Pater Jayakanthan on 09th Dec 2019 with holy mass. On the day we celebrated World Disability Day with an Exhibition. Guest Dr. Anbuselvam inaugurated the exhibition and Mr. Vijaykumar one of our society member has cut the ribbon in the new hall to open exhibition and fun games. In exhibition nine schools were participated.  The schools are anbumalar, KRM, Avvaikappagam, Luke, Spastin, Kumaran, Anbalaya Rural, Anbalaya.  Students and teachers were explained their topics with enthestics explanations.  The topics were speech and communication, play with therapy, Diet, Assistive and adaptive devices, Govt, provisions, RPWD ACT 2016, successors parental online and network guidance. Nine schools were conducted the fun games. Flying cup, ribbon passing, target game, picking thermo balls. Cash prizes were given to the winners.  At the end of the programme lunch was served to the participants.



There is no garden without beautiful flowers.  Every child is a different kind of flower together they make this world a beautiful garden. Children’s day celebration focuses on children of their enjoyment.  Anbalaya Rural special school always strives to energy out with something new for its students and children day being a day especially for them.  On 27th Nov 2019, the programme started with the prayer song and followed by welcome speech to give honour to special guest’s Fr. Pradeep (parish priest, our lady of Rosary Church, Manavala Nagar) and Mr. P. Thangaraja (purchasing supervisor – Caterpillar India private Ltd.,)

The theme of the whole celebration was children you are previous for us are love you the other mesmerizing performance of the evening were special performance by students rendering their special ability through wonderful dance and a skit by teacher on importance of discipline yoga which was very entertaining at their jokes.  The day ended with different games of prize distribution to cheer the children.  The entire programme ended with vote of thanks by the correspondent Mrs. Arokia Mary and recitation of national anthem all praise and glory be to god almighty for raking the whole programme to end successfully.



  In our centre, Anbalaya’s children’s day was celebrated on 23rd November 2019.  In the celebration our guest are Mr. Arivu Nidhi, Dr. Sagy, Mrs. Indhumathi and Ms. Rajakumari were invited.  Student was participated in many programmes. In early intervention and Inter medium student and parents got participated in fancy dress competition. In the competition primary and secondary students were participated in the speech competition. Primary II students were presented the drama about the planets. Some students were danced in the children’s day.  tik-tok programme also acted by our students. Parents and teachers were given debate about the topic “Junk food v/s Nutritious Food”.  Some students participated in mehandi competition. Then our guests were given their featured text. Prizes were given to the winners and participants. Lastly Programme ends with enjoyable moment.



Diwali festival was celebrated on 24th Oct 2019 at campus in grand colourful new dresses.  Like sparks of crackers.  Under the supervision of the class teacher students from each class fired crackers with great excitement. All required precautions were done priory. Diwali festival was celebrated wonderfully without any harm by god almighty’s grate.
